We can't say enough about our journey through this album, we were just starting to write for the orchestra and we often travel back to this point of pure unbiased creation. We didn't know enough about orchestration to know if we were technically right or wrong, a beautiful place to be. The title track "Imagine" was our first piece written specifically for the orchestra. Up until that point we studied by closing our eyes and listening intently to our favorite compositions - ranging from Mozart to Lord of the Rings - and recreating them. Besides being a great listening exercise, this gave us vital insight into learning how the orchestra is utilized, and we slowly began to hear where all the instruments fit in. We knew just enough to begin writing and off we went. "Imagine" symbolizes the beginning of our journey, and it will always hold a special place in our heart.
